Ed is the master! I think his fill in’s are pure genius! I think he learned a lot from his dad about being a swing musician. Both men and Alex are pure genius! Well done boys, well done
If u listen closely, u Might hear a tiny imperfection here or there. I love the fact he didnt try to fake it or make it perfect. He was just that good that he left it real & more than likely did this in just one or 2 takes maybe.
This is one of my favorite solos ever. I truly believe Elliot Easton is up there in the most underrated guitarists of this era. Also... hearing the harmonized guitar on the last two notes of the song is a great touch too
First off, great video! Love the isolated tracks of Ed! Lol now don’t jump all over me tone purists, but it sounds like Ed’s driving his Marshall with an MXR Distortion +. It has that nasty raspy sound that we all love. I know Ed said he didn’t use distortion pedals, but he lied about the PAF thing (when he used 13k ceramic pickups), turning Variac’s up (when he really lowered them), etc. No other 70s guitarist was getting quite that level of gain from stock Marshalls, so it’s something I’m gonna try.
If you compare high energy rock guitar to driving cars Ed could drift through a corner as fast as the rest of us could race through it. So he doesn't just win the race. He looks way cooler while doing it!
EEEEEEEEK! OMG this is just sick - bravo Eddie, bravo miss you so much and absolutely one of my VH favs. this song always makes me SO HAPPY....anyone have Whispers too?
There’s a different feel between bands that use the higher strings in their riffs and those that don’t. Both sound totally metal, and totally different at the same time. Metallica (low end), Megadeth (both), and Van Halen (high end), all sound amazing in different ways. That’s why we love music.
Lekker
A lot of jazz chords used here, sounds great.
super creepy

Alright!
The punch man
That outtro riff. I mean holy hell.
I love the fact that they left the two little minor slip ups on the track. Even the master was human haha. Love it!
come hangout in stream Robin
That's some great guitar playing in ONE TAKE. Awesome..... EVH... Definitely buying the Wolfgang Special Guitar.... 🎸🔥
Is the telecaster still used on the solo?
As insane as he was with lead...you have to wonder was equally as epic at rhythm? This song always made me think...hell yeah!
Nice piece! Salute. 😎

Bad or Good, love or hate him, people remember CC, a lot of guitarist just fade quickly and are forgotten
All I need is "Little Dreamer"
Reach down... between my legs... ease the seat back!
He makes it sound easy :)
cool
That outro solo, near the end so melodic and weird at the same time.

Absolutely SAVAGE guitar tone. Jerry for the win. 🤘
The fucking swagger is ridiculous. 👌
holy fuck
Joe Perry had some nice lead chops. But, he sure was a sloppy rhythm player. I used to call him "Sloppy Joe".
Using this to play along with. Jack Bruce was an absolute genius on bass.
I'm not sure how Steve Miller got away with changing the words to this song and calling it his own.
How do we know this is Warren and not robin?
Who is "we"? Do you have a mouse in your pocket ?
@@CheGeetarra haha we as in all the people talking about how great Warren is playing
0:39 My headphones fell down by the increased gravity
Eddie would not want you to weep as a result of his passing, butt to find joy in his music and legacy he left behind.❤
